    Google CEO Eric Schmidt在接受美国杂志《纽约客》采访时表示，Google依然不清楚如何从YouTube身上赚钱，那数百万视频还没有带来什么实质性收入。

    两年前，Google耗资16.5亿美元将YouTube收归旗下，Schmidt当时宣称YouTube“很显然”会给Google带来“大笔”收入，但直到现在Google依然没有实现这一愿望，只是最近在视频底部加了短暂的内嵌广告，点击后就会把用户带往其他网站。

    不过Schmidt表示Google并不着急。他说：“我们有的是时间。”

    Schmidt还否认Google垄断了网络广告市场，并称赞了雅虎的广告业务。雅虎刚刚彻底结束与微软的收购谈判，并正式使用Google广告系统。这也难怪Schmidt会有如此说法。
